FINLAY KNOX - ELITE TURN CLINIC

August 21, 2:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Turns with Finlay Knox

This clinic is designed for elite swimmers with a Provincial Champs Qualifying time or faster to refine their turning techniques across all strokes. The 10-15 minute introductory segment will cover the mechanics of various turns, illustrated with detailed videos and live demonstrations that focus on body mechanics. The activation phase will feature exercises to enhance agility and core stability. In the pool, swimmers will practice different types of turns, including open turns, flip turns, and crossover turns, with a focus on speed, precision, and seamless transitions. Improving these skills will reduce time spent at the wall and enhance overall race performance. Finlay Knox, a world champion in the 200 IM and an Olympian competing in the 200 IM, 4x100 Freestyle relay, and 4x100 Medley relay in Paris, will be hosting this clinic.
