With movable floors and walls, the centre is highly versatile and now serves as a premier venue for both elite competitions and community use. Its striking origami-inspired architecture reflects Japanese culture and innovation in sport.
WHAT IS INCLUDED?
From August 12th–18th, swimmers will take part in twice-daily water and dryland training sessions, receive a one-hour video analysis session tailored to their individual goals and areas for improvement, and have the opportunity to schedule additional one-on-one coaching while in Tokyo.

20HRS TRAINING
IN THE POOL
Led by SwimX’s Yuri Kisil in collaboration with Kitajima Aquatics coaches—including Olympic legends Kosuke Kitajima and Kosuke Hagino—these sessions offer a rare opportunity to learn from some of Japan’s most accomplished swimmers.
Training will cover all four strokes, dives, turns, and mindset/pre-race preparation, blending high-intensity sets with detailed technical work. Each session is designed to help swimmers understand the small details that make a big difference—and give them the chance to practice executing those skills with purpose and precision.

8HRS DRYLAND
TRAINING
Interspersed with pool sessions to provide a well-rounded training experience, the dryland sessions are primarily led by Yao Ma, an accomplished age-group competitive swimmer and elite track and field trainer. Fluent in Japanese, English, and Mandarin, Yao's multilingual abilities ensure clear communication and a culturally inclusive environment.

1 ON 1 VIDEO ANALYSIS IN THE SWIM LAB
Swimmers will have the opportunity to focus on their individual areas for improvement during a personalized one-on-one session in the SwimLab—an advanced countercurrent pool equipped with cameras capturing multiple angles of each stroke. A coach and translator will guide the session, providing real-time feedback as swimmers watch themselves swim and work through key technical adjustments. This innovative format allows for immediate corrections and deeper understanding of stroke mechanics. All video footage from the session will be sent to the swimmer afterward for continued review and learning.
